Madli and Oscar had a small, intimate wedding in the Swedish countryside near Gothenburg, surrounded by forests and lakes. Only their closest family was invited — no elaborate plans, no long guest list, just the people who matter most.
The day started with a morning swim in the lake, right next to the lakehouse where the ceremony and dinner would later take place. It was one of those perfectly unhurried days where everything flows naturally. The ceremony was held by the water, dinner was at the lakehouse, and the whole evening had a warmth and closeness that bigger weddings rarely achieve.
This is something I always tell couples — you don’t need to overdo it. Sometimes keeping things beautifully simple creates the most memorable wedding day you could ask for. Madli and Oscar’s Swedish lakehouse wedding is proof of exactly that.
