Epic elopement energy: Discovered a waterfall no map could find, wandered Iceland’s wild highlands with just sheep for witnesses—then capped it off by breaking a tyre, because adventure loves a plot twist!

Many have asked and believe this is a photograph — but it’s actually a video capturing a couple standing before one of Iceland’s most powerful glaciers, high on a mountain slope. On a day this clear and windless, every detail reveals the raw beauty of the landscape while the windless weather add some beautiful reflection on the water. Behind them rises one of Iceland’s tallest peaks, adding to the sense of grandeur. Filmed with my drone, the shot descends slowly while the camera tilts upward, unveiling. Captured through a 170mm telephoto lens, it brings depth and compression. A vertical version does not do any justice so I uploaded a landscape version of it.

If I weren't a photographer, I'd probably be a videographer. Moments like this carry far more weight in motion — where words often become unnecessary. A still image, however, sometimes longs for a few more.This family portrait was captured at the end of a wedding day in Haapsalu, Estonia, by the sea. The children ran to hug their parents just as a flock of birds passed behind them — and in that fleeting heartbeat, I wished I had been a videographer instead.
